It is a truly glorious summer! Here in Pennsylvania, my new home, I am loving the cool breezy mornings with the rising sun lighting up all the new growth. Constant thunderstorms and drenching showers betwixt and between the heavy heat cause the gardens to literally erupt with tender fern shoots, vines snaking eagerly towards new heights, and flowers bursting out with nectar and pollen for the bees we now have at the bottom end.

For some reason, all this freshness kept reminding me of Japan (probably the muggy weather coupled with the screeching of the cicadas!), and the cool ubiquitous color of matcha infused my mind.

This is our second-to-last batch of Glorious Cobweb, alas. Even though I personally love the sumptuousness of the silky cashmere, and lace weight yarn in general, it doesn't appear to be the favorite of most of our customers. Yes, it's expensive, but oh so worth every penny for the glory of a project that will last a lifetime.

If you're wondering what the last batch will look like, there's definitely a clue in the photos . . .
