This is another batch of overdyed yarn, and another reminder that beauty can deepen even as it shifts form, or in this case, color. I loved the original iteration, and even kept a skein for myself to pair with two skeins from the batch dyed by black walnuts, destined for my first new project of 2020, The Rain Outside shawl by Sylvia McFadden.
However, as I knit and tweaked, changed cast ons and lace charts, I finally realized that although I loved both colors, and loved them even more together, I didn't love them for ME! So back in the pot they all went and now I'm happy. Since I only need one skein, there're three available for others. Perhaps one or two of you may prefer these deeper shades of ballerina pink and earthy rose too.
